RHD UK car. Manufactured 1964, registered in 1965. Supplied to Alfa Romeo London. I have a letter from Alfa Romeo Historica confirming this was the 2nd RHD UK supplied Sprint GT.
Monocoque jigged during restoration. Steel structural sections replaced, including floor pans front and rear. Inner and outer sills, jacking points. Rear boot repaired. New spare wheel well. Restorative steel work carried out by Alfa Romeo coachwork specialist. Parts supplied by Classic Alfa. FIA specification Safety Devices supplied full roll cage fitted. My intention is to recreate a 1965 1600 GTA. This project could either be the continued basis for an FIA race car eligible for historic racing events, or be returned back to a steel bodied Sprint GT as original. Interior satin grey. Remaining black textured light stone chip.
Aluminium roof hand rolled using the original steel roof as a buck. Original steel roof available and steel rear end from the C pillar back. Original steel bonnet, boot lid available. Steel door frames restored and Aluminium skinned (not in images but available with sale). Mechanical parts all original Sprint GT. Rear axle, linkages, suspension, Brakes (Dunlop). Steel wheels x 5. Engine complete, not disassembled, with original carburettors fitted. Engine can be turned by hand. Transmission still fitted as an assembly. Dry stored 40 years. All Glass available and original (undamaged). Original instrument panel with original correct dials. Steering wheel present. Front rubber mat and boot floor mat present but worn. No seats. Original front and rear lights present. Alot of original exterior trim present. Overall, this is a very parts complete Original Sprint GT. Dismantled, ready for completion. Expensive restorative work done. Remaining aluminium panels available through Classic Alfa as well as GTA unique parts.
The monocoque is on a car length dolly on wheels. This is not part of the sale.
