The Pirelli Cinturato was introduced in the 1950s and was the first example of a textile cord braced radial tyre. The Pirelli Cinturato quickly became the dominant radial tyre in European GT and sports car racing circles and was original fitment on most Italian performance cars of the day, including the Giulietta and Giulia models through to the late 1960s. Optiopnal original fitment on 105 series cars fitted with 14" wheels (until 1978).
