How can I add to my existing order?

Send an email to info@classicalfa.com asking us to hold your existing order because you’re making a second order. Make a new order for the additional parts and use the coupon code add2order at checkout which will remove the additional shipping cost.

How can I return a part to you?

Please post it back to us together with the returns form below.

COV-ID 19 Information / Visitors to Classic Alfa

June 2021 - Covid-19 Update. Although most of our staff have now returned to work we are still asking if, wherever possible, you place your order online. We will continue to dispatch orders daily and DHL are delivering as normal to nearly every country in the world and have continued to do so throughout the pandemic. If you wish to visit it is strictly by appointment - please email tom@classicalfa.com to make an appointment. Please do not visit us if you have travelled from another country in the past 10 days. If you are a UK customer and wish to collect an order personally - please order online, type Click-Collect into the coupon code box at check out and enter the time and date that you wish to collect into the Order Instructions/Comments section.

I am in the European Union. Will I pay VAT and customs duty when the parcel is delivered?

The way taxes are paid on your order has changed. We will charge you VAT and duty at checkout. This is the final price. You will no longer have to pay anything to DHL when the order is delivered. This will make ordering simpler and quicker.

I am ordering for a business with a VAT number in the European Union & I will need to reclaim the VAT. What should I do?

Most customers will now pay their VAT at checkout but If you are ordering for a company with a European VAT number and need to reclaim the VAT, it is better to pay the VAT to DHL instead. Please use the payment method QUOTATION and we will remove all taxes from the order. DHL will contact you to pay the taxes before the order is delivered. You will therefore be able to reclaim the taxes from your government.

I am in Australia. Must I pay Australian GST?

We will charge GST at 10% on orders to Australia which are under 1000 AUD in value.

Orders over 1000 AUD will show GST at checkout but we will remove it before final billing. Note, you will usually be charged GST by Australian Customs on such orders.

If you have an ABN number, please type it in the comments box at checkout. We will remove the GST before final billing. 

I am in New Zealand. Must I pay NZ GST?

Yes, we will charge GST at 15% on all orders which ship to New Zealand. If you have a GST number, please type it in the comments box at checkout and we will remove the GST before final billing.

I am in Norway. Must I pay VAT?

We must charge Norway VAT at 25% on most orders shipping to Norway. If an order contains an item above 3000 NOK, we will not charge VAT on any of that order and it will be charged by Norway Customs upon arrival in Norway.

I am not in Europe. Will I have to pay import duty and if so, how much?

You may have to pay some import duty (particularly if your order is large) but you will need to make your own inquiries as to how much that might be. We ship all over the world and therefore cannot tell you what the duties to each country might be.

Are the prices on your website inclusive of VAT?

No. They do not include VAT. 

I am in the USA / AUSTRALIA / CANADA. Must I pay VAT?

No. 

I am in Europe. Can I have very fast shipping?

If you need your order very fast, please email us for a quote for express shipping by air which can be as fast as 1-2 days to some European destinations.

Can I pay by bank transfer?

Yes, if the order value exceeds £200. Please select QUOTATION as a payment method at checkout and write a note in the COMMENTS box at checkout asking to pay by bank transfer. We will contact you with a quotation and our bank details. Please note that this is a much slower way of paying for an order than credit card or Paypal because we have to wait for the transfer to arrive before we can ship and this can take up to a week.

What guarantee is there on your products?

We offer a money back guarantee against faulty manufacture on all our products if they are returned to us within one year.

Can I visit your shop?

Yes, but please notify us a few days in advance.

Must I sign for my parcel?

Not necessarily. For many countries (including the UK, USA, Canada, Australia) DHL offers an On Demand Delivery service where, among other options, you can arrange to receive your parcel without a signature, at your own risk. You can take advantage of this by clicking on a link in your tracking email.

Can I pay in Euros/US Dollars/Aus Dollars?

Sorry, no. We always bill in GB Pounds. But almost all credit cards will allow you to pay in GBP. You can see the Euro/Dollar/AUD/JPY equivalent by using the currency function on our homepage.

Can I pay cash-on-delivery?

Sorry, no.

Can you deliver to my country?

Almost certainly. We ship to almost every country in the world.

Do you sell parts for the Alfetta / 916 / Alfasud?

Sorry, no. We only supply parts for Alfas built before 1978 except for the Spider which we support until the end of the Series 4 cars in 1993.
