For sale this gorgeous Australian delivered Right Hand Drive 1967 Giulia Sprint GT Veloce that has had a full bare metal rebuild and respray in Alfa Rosso 501, along with being fully rust proofed.
The 1600 Engine (AR00536*24489) has been rebuilt with the crank crack checked, polished and galleries cleaned (No re grind as in original spec), new standard top and bottom end bearings, rings and bottom end fittings along with gaskets and seals.
The Head has been pressure cleaned, crack tested, skimmed and professionally re built and with new valves, valve guides seals. Cams checked, Valve clearance shimmed, new timing chains etc.
Spin on oil filter. Original elephant trunk and filter set up with new components as needed. New water pump, and hoses.
Correct Weber DCOE 40 carburetors , new intake and exhaust manifold gaskets with standard exhaust system. New Fuel tank.
Gearbox has been refreshed and worn 2nd gear synchro replaced.
Burman steering box stripped down, no cracks, rebuilt, new Penrite steering box fluid. Sooth and positive.
New classic alfa wiring harness,123 ignition, alternator rather than generator. Original fuse box in engine bay.
New Headliner installed, sound proofing throughout and custom leather interior . original correct seats (interior easily changed out to suit original if desired).Comes with working original cigar lighter. Original steering wheel, new steering column shroud.
Professionally rebuilt ATE original brake calipers all roundand new brake booster, brake master cylinder, brake fluid reservoir.
New Standard classic alfa shocks all round and lowered rear spring to improve the stance (Original rear springs available if desired)
GTA wheels currently on however can swap out for original steel wheels with hub caps and with original (old) Pirellis available(see photo above)
Classic Alfa components used throughout this car rebuild.
Car has just been a joy to drive and run in (Over 1000 miles)using premium Penrite running in oil. New premium Ryco oil filter and correct weight Penrite oil for daily driving. The engine pulls smoothly well up into the rev range and drives and handles well.
This gorgeous car needs to be sold to fund the next 105 rebuild project and I am open to discussion.
