Lightweight high-torque starter motor. Smaller and lighter than earlier starter motors and an ideal retro-fit for those looking to save some weight and gain extra starting performance, especially on upgraded engines. 3 bolt mounting and 9 tooth pinion to suit 2000 engines. FITS ALL 2000 ENGINES (105, 115 and 116 SERIES) FROM 1972 TO 1993. Please also note that some late 1600 cars from 1974 onwards may have a 9 tooth starter. Please count the teeth on your old starter carefully before ordering. Please note these are NEW units with no exchange necessary.
