GENERAL
I am in Europe. Can I have very fast shipping?
If you need your order very fast, please select the DHL Air shipping method at checkout. This can be as fast as 1-2 days to many European destinations.
I have forgotten an item! Can I add to my order?
Yes, providing the order hasn’t been processed, we can add to it. Please place a new order online and use the coupon code ‘add2myorder’, this will remove the shipping charge, and we will combine with the first.
Once an order has been processed ready for dispatch, we cannot add to it.
Must I sign for my parcel?
Not necessarily. For many countries (including the UK, USA, Canada, Australia) DHL offers an On Demand Delivery service where, among other options, you can arrange to receive your parcel without a signature, at your own risk. You can take advantage of this by clicking on a link in your tracking email.
Can I visit your shop?
Yes, but by appointment only. Please email info@classicalfa.com and a salesman will arrange this with you.
Can I collect my order?
Yes, please use the coupon code ‘Click+Collect’ at checkout.
Orders can be collected between office open hours. If you need advice or further assistance, please book an appointment with the sales team.
I am a workshop or wholesaler, can I set up a trade account?
Yes, please email info@classicalfa.com and we can set up a trade log in.
Do you sell parts for the 916 or Alfasud?
Sorry, no, at the moment we don't stock parts for those models. However, we regularly add new models to our range so we may look at the 916 and Alfasud in future.
Can I use my own courier?
Yes, we can prepare an order for shipping. Please make a note on your order and we will remove the shipping charge.
There may be a small packing and materials charge.
RETURNS
I wish to return a part to you. What should I do?
Please return it to us within 30 days of receipt and include the returns form which you can download below.
If you wish to return a part to us more than 30 days from receipt, please email us first (info@classicalfa.com) as such returns are at our discretion.

WARRANTY
What guarantee is there on your products?
We offer a money back guarantee on all new parts if returned within 28 days. All new parts have a 1 year manufacturer warranty.
Used parts are sold-as-seen, we endeavour to describe them as honestly as we can in the description.
PAYMENT
Can I pay in my own currency?
We accept Pound Sterling (£GBP), US Dollar ($USD), Euros (€EUR), Australian Dollar ($AUD), Japanese Yen (¥JPY), Canadian Dollars ($CAD), New Zealand Dollars ($NZD) and Norwegian Krone (NOK).
You can select your preferred currency at checkout and you will be invoiced in this currency.
Can I pay by bank transfer?
Yes. Please select QUOTATION as a payment method at checkout and write a note in the COMMENTS box at checkout asking to pay by bank transfer.
We will contact you with a quotation and our bank details.
Can I have a credit account?
No, sorry. We no longer run credit accounts for new customers.
TAXES
UK
The website prices do not include VAT. VAT at 20% will be added at checkout.
USA
We will not add UK tax to your order. Due to changes introduced in August 2025 by President Trump, all orders will incur duties and taxes. DHL will contact you whilst your order is in transit requesting payment.
Australia
We will not add UK tax to your order. If your order is under 1000 AUD in value, we will add Australian GST at 10% at checkout. You will not pay further taxes upon import.
If your order is over 1000 AUD or you have an ABN number, we will refund the GST before shipping for orders of any value but you may be charged taxes by Australian Customs upon import.
New Zealand
We will not add UK tax to your order. We will add NZ GST at 15% at checkout.
If your order is under 1000 NZD, you will not pay any additional costs when the goods arrive.
If your order is over 1000 NZD or you have an IRD number, we will refund the GST before shipping for orders of any value but you will be charged taxes by New Zealand Customs upon import.
Norway
We will not add UK tax to your order. For most non-business orders, we will add Norwegian VAT at 25% at checkout . In that case, you will not be charged further taxes upon import.
For business orders and for any orders where any single item costs more than 2500 NOK, we will refund the VAT before shipping. VAT will be charged upon import by Norwegian Customs.
European Union (excluding Germany)
We will not add UK tax to your order. For most non-business orders, we will charge your countries VAT at checkout. The price you pay at checkout is the final price and you will not be charged further taxes upon import. Classic Alfa pays all import duties and taxes to DHL prior to delivery.
If you are ordering for a business with an EU VAT number, it is better to pay the VAT to DHL upon import. Please use the payment method QUOTATION and we will remove all the taxes from your order. You will pay the VAT and import duty to DHL upon import and will be able to reclaim the VAT from your government. Note, you will not be able to reclaim DHL’s handling charge.
Incoterms: For non-business orders, your order will be sent DTP (delivered taxes paid) under DAP incoterms with you as the importer of record. Business orders (B2B) are sent with DAP incoterms with you as the importer of record.
All other countries
We will not add UK tax to your order. You may be charged taxes by DHL upon import to your country.
