Carbon fibre left door to suit late 105 series GTs/GTVs with cable style window regulators.
If you are looking for a super lightweight alternative to your current steel doors, whilst also retaining the strength and rigidity of a steel panel. Then look no further. This carbon fibre panel is a great solution to knock off a few extra kilograms from your GT. These panels are finished beautifully and come complete with:
- Threaded inserts for the hinges.
- Rollers for the window regulator wires.
- The original style internal stiffening brackets.
- Weight of steel door - 11.8kg
- Weight of carbon fibre door - 2.8kg
- Weight saving - 9kg
We would recommend changing your door seals to a lower profile/softer seal when fitting these doors such as the Spiders RB024/1 seals. Due to the lightweight nature of these doors they struggle to build the momentum needed to shut nicely against stiffer GT door seals.
