Front exhaust section without catalytic converter, better exhaust flow and potential to release more power. To suit the singular piece cast exhaust manifold, our part number EX045. To suit USA specification fuel injected Spiders (Spica & Bosch) from 1978-89. To be used with EX009/2 middle exhaust.

We believe there is a lot of misinformation about the post '74 Alfa spiders. As we understand there were no spiders sold in California in '75 and '76 since a catalyst was required, and Alfa did not have one fitted to the spider yet. In '77 there was a catalytic converter on California spiders only. 1975 through 1977 non-California spiders did not have a catalytic converter. In 1978 the spider became a 50-state vehicle. All cars had catalytic converters starting in 1978.
